Community-Based Participatory Research

The Northwest Health Foundation supports community-based participatory research as a tool to generate meaningful information about community health and build the capacity of groups united by common challenges to organize and advocate for change.

2008 Request for Proposals:  Preventing and Reducing Chronic Diseases Through Policy Using CBPR.

The 2008 RFP will seek to support community-based participatory research (CBPR) projects that 1) build community capacity for policy advocacy, and 2) apply research findings to support policy change that improves community health.  

Workshops were held in Portland and Eugene on July 10 and 11 to provide technical assistance on the topic of Policy Analysis and Advocacy Training for Community-based Participatory Research Practitioners
